O objetivo de cada um dos meus projetos é retratar uma mulher, com toda a força e plenitude dessa palavra, com o universo de coisas que essa palavra carrega.

Tudo o que eu coloco ali, fundos, figurinos, acessórios… Tudo é escolhido pra que cada mulher se sinta mais bonita e para que o retrato seja mais sobre ela.

É pra isso que eu faço cada uma das minhas fotografias.

Eu chamo meu trabalho de retratos contemporâneos, eu prefiro não encaixar em nenhuma categoria porque estou sempre criando coisas novas, desenvolvendo e construindo todos os dias. Mas eu criei alguns princípios que foram evoluindo junto com a minha historia como fotografa.

Meu trabalho em primeiro lugar, ele tem que ser livre, ele tem que ser mutável, tem que ser construído em conjunto com todo mundo que tá ali, pra se tornar único e trazer um pouquinho de cada pessoa.
Nos meus projetos, ninguém é contrato por ninguém, ninguém tá la trabalhando pra outra pessoal, nós trabalhamos juntas com o mesmo objetivo: Criar uma peça de arte.

A essência do contemporâneo é o “atual”, é o que está acontecendo agora.
Então o retrato contemporâneo ele precisa ser atemporal, ele não pode envelhecer nunca. Isso ajuda a entender um pouco os figurinos que eu trabalho, eu não posso seguir o que está na moda, porque se não amanha ele já deixa de ser contemporâneo. Todos os elementos que eu uso, eles tem que ser eternos, como flores, tecidos, jóias bonitas.. Flores são eternas, as flores representam o feminino antes e vão continuar representando.

O meu retrato ele tem sempre que ser sobre uma pessoa.
Ele tem que carregar uma personalidade, tem que trazer a identidade de quem ta ali, de quem tá sendo mostrado naquela foto, seja uma identidade real ou uma que nós vamos criar juntas. O meu retrato não é sobre a rotina de uma mulher ou sobre um lugar que ela frequenta.
Ele também não é sobre o momento que ela está vivendo, ou sobre como ela se sente em relação a alguma coisa.
O meu retrato ele é sempre sobre a pessoa.

Desenvolver retratos é a minha forma de manter contato com a arte e de levar a arte pra outras pessoas.

É através da fotografia que eu apresento a arte pra outras mulheres, e muitas que nunca tiveram contato com ela.
A maior parte das mulheres que vocês veem nos meus trabalhos, elas tiveram o primeiro contato com a fotografia comigo.
E mais, muitas vezes é também o primeiro contato dela com a arte, é a primeira vez que ela se veem como uma peça de arte, e isso muda vida.

A arte muda vidas.

E como ele pode mudar a sua vida?

Da forma que eu entendo esse projeto ele é muito sobre quebrar barreiras.

A primeira barreira é a decisão de participar.
Sempre que eu falo com mulheres sobre esse trabalho, elas se encantam. O desejo nasce muito rápido. Mas ainda assim, as vezes se passam meses antes de terem a inciativa de se inscrever porque o passo entre o desejo e a realização parecem muito distantes.

As pessoas tem medo do que os outros vão dizer, tem medo de não ter mais idade pra isso, ou que não faz sentido na realidade dela, que eu não vou gostar dela, que nunca vai ser selecionada. Lembra que esse trabalho não é sobre você, é sobre todas nós, e você vai representar todas nós. E isso é quem nós mulheres somos. Não importa a idade, não importa o peso, não importa o cabelo, não importa a sua experiencia como modelo, se você é mulher a minha arte foi criada pra você.

A segunda barreira, é a coragem de mostrar pro mundo a sua criatividade, é parar de pensar se você estiver usando algo diferente do convencional. É começar a construir aquilo que você realmente é, realizar os desejo que você não pode quando a sua alma ainda era livre, trazer o lúdico de volta a sua rotina e mostrar pra sociedade  aquilo você é, aquilo que você tem vontade de ser.

A terceira, é praticar a sororidade, é viver com mulheres, não só conviver, mas viver mesmo com elas, lado a lado. Perceber que não somos competidoras, somos todas parte da mesma coisa. Cada uma de nós tem as suas próprias barreiras, mas no final elas não são tão diferentes, e com a experiencia da outra sem fica mais fácil passar por elas. São coisas que é preciso ser mulher para entender.
